Thursday, Feb 8, 2018. Day 15 of our snowbird vacation.

Angie & I took the hour drive to Oak Island Beach, NC to visit Kathy Mularczyk, the widow of my old high school basketball coach who passed away last summer.

We talked some about Coach (how could we not?) but also had a lot of laughs. We had excellent shrimp po boys at Wing and Fish Company in Shallotte.

Angie and I then drove to a bowling alley at Myrtle to join in on a snow bird outing. Angie did pretty good for a person whose last bowling experience was last year at Myrtle! I had to pass because my back is too stiff - next year!

After a stop at Steak & Shake, we went back to the room and watched the North Carolina/Duke game, which is always a big deal down here.
